Amar Parkinson

Amar Parkinson is an experienced infrastructure development manager currently holding roles at Knight Dragon Ltd and Mind, where Amar delivers mindfulness-based radical self-care courses for the LGBTQ+ community. Previously, Amar served as a senior project manager and principal engineer at Mott MacDonald, managing complex multi-million-pound highway projects and leading client engagement. Additionally, Amar has held various project management positions, including a secondment to Barking Riverside Limited for a major regeneration project and a role at the Department for Education focusing on school procurement. Amar's experience also includes a voluntary placement with Engineers Without Borders UK and an analyst position at Goldman Sachs. Amar holds a Diploma in Transformational Leadership Coaching from Catalyst 14 and advanced degrees in civil engineering and mathematics and economics from the University of Southampton and University of Nottingham, respectively.
