Background and relevant experience: Alexandra Innes was previously Managing Director and Head of Equity & Multi-Strategy Prime Origination EMEA at Barclays plc, where she also played a lead role in global business strategy & co-ordination as a member of the Global Equity Finance Sales & Trading management team. Prior to that, Alexandra was a Director of Global Markets at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, with clients spanning institutional asset managers and hedge funds. Her earlier career focussed on investment banking and investment management in the technology sector. Alexandra holds an MA in Economics from Cambridge University, is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments, and holds the CFA qualification in ESG investing. She is currently an independent board member of the inaugural 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships (Scotland), and a Trustee of the All England Lawn Tennis Club Pension & Assurance Scheme, having served as a board member of the Wimbledon Championships from 2014-2020.
