Bruce Itchkawitz

Bruce Itchkawitz is a seasoned Registered Patent Attorney at Knobbe, Martens, Olson & Bear LLP, with a tenure beginning in September 1999. Prior to this role, Bruce served as a post-doctoral researcher in the Chemistry Department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from August 1994 to August 1996, focusing on the nanoscale structure of semiconductor surfaces. Bruce also conducted research at the Fritz-Haber-Institut der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft between 1992 and 1994, utilizing synchrotron-radiation-based photoemission spectroscopy for various systems. Academically, Bruce holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law (1996-1999), a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Pennsylvania (1985-1991), and a B.S. in Engineering Physics from Lehigh University (1979-1983).
