Cheryl Burgess

Cheryl Burgess serves as a Partner at Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP, one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the United States, since November 2007. Previously, Cheryl held the position of Law Clerk to the Honorable Alvin A. Schall at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, where responsibilities included analyzing legal issues and drafting legal opinions from August 2006 to September 2007. Prior to this, Cheryl worked as a Law Clerk at Ropes & Gray LLP from October 2004 to June 2006, focusing on intellectual property litigation. Cheryl's earlier career includes serving as an Officer in the United States Air Force from May 1997 to October 2004, where notable roles included Constellation Mission Director. Cheryl earned a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Boston University.
