David Diers began their work experience as an Analyst at Currid & Company in 1999, where they designed and maintained websites and created database applications. David then transitioned to a role as a Web Technologist at Dell Computer Corporation in 2000, where they optimized and updated intranet sites.

In 2001, David worked as a Lab Proctor at the University of Texas before becoming the Web Master at the College of Fine Arts in the same year. At the College of Fine Arts, they created and coded pages, performed audits, and developed a scalable web development solution. David also provided help desk support during this time.

From 2002 to 2007, David worked as a Senior Systems Analyst at the UTeach Institute, where they refactored websites and developed online course distribution applications. David also focused on creating complex data models for program replication.

In 2007, David joined the Web Central Team at the University of Texas as a Senior Software Developer/Analyst. In this role, they provided application support, configured PHP-based CMS systems, and managed the Drupal CMS.

Following that, David worked at the Office of Development at the University of Texas as a Senior Software Developer/Analyst. David was responsible for PHP coding development, project management, and web application design.

In 2011, David joined Four Kitchens as an Architect and worked there until 2019. David designed and developed data pipelines and backends for television clients using various technologies. David also designed an Emmy Award-winning API for the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon website and apps.

Most recently, David joined Knock in 2019 as a Lead Software Engineer.

David Diers has a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree from Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. David attended from 1994 to 1998 and majored in Music Composition. In 1996, David participated in a Study Abroad program at City University, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this experience. After completing their bachelor's degree, they pursued further education at The University of Texas at Austin, where they obtained a Master of Music - M.M degree in Music Composition. David studied at The University of Texas from 2000 to 2003.
