Filipe Freitas Pinto

Filipe Freitas Pinto has a wealth of experience in the medical field. Filipe began their career in 2012 as a General Trainee at Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Porto. In 2013, they took on the role of Invited Teacher at Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto and Psychiatry and Mental Health at Hospital São João. In 2015, they joined knokcare as Chief Medical Officer, Country Manager Portugal, and Medical Partner and Clinical Director. In 2016, they moved to Blueclinical and assumed the roles of Medical Manager and Principal Investigator, Research Physician, Director of Business Development and Medical Writing, Head of Medical Writing, and Associate Research Physician.

Filipe Freitas Pinto is currently enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Health Data Science - Branch of Health Intelligent Data Analysis at Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto, which they began in 2022. Previously, they completed a PhD in Clinical Neurosciences, Neuropsychiatry and Mental Health at the same school from 2013 to 2015. Before that, they earned a Master's degree in Medicine from ICBAS- Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences, which they completed between 2005 and 2011.
