Shawn Thomas, Ph.D, EMBA has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Shawn currently serves as a Faculty and Vice President at Knopman Marks Financial Training since November 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at American Public University System starting from July 2013. Shawn also served as an Assistant Professor and Dissertation Chair at Liberty University from April 2012 onwards.

Shawn Thomas, Ph.D, EMBA, holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Organization and Management/Management Education/Post-Graduate Certification in College Teaching. Shawn obtained this degree from Capella University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Prior to their Ph.D., Shawn completed an Executive MBA in International Business from Mercer University Stetson-Hatcher School of Business in 2006. Their educational journey began at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Economics from 1991 to 1995.
