Marcus Hoffmann

Marcus Hoffmann is an experienced professional in sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) affairs. Currently serving as the Head of ESG at Knorr-Bremse since October 2022, Hoffmann previously held positions such as the Head of Sustainability Strategy and Projects and Specialist in Sustainability Management at Schaeffler from January 2019 to October 2022. At FutureCamp Climate GmbH, from September 2011 to January 2019, Hoffmann worked as a Senior Consultant focusing on sustainability reporting and CSR strategy implementation. Earlier roles included International Expert and Intern at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, where Hoffmann contributed to projects in climate politics and international water management. Hoffmann holds a Magister Artium in Political Science and Economics from the University of Magdeburg and has engaged in international studies in Business and Political Science at Charles University, along with a DAAD Stipend in International Politics in the Caucasus region.
