Yukichi Hayashi

Yukichi Hayashi is a highly experienced professional in engineering and management, currently serving as Director of OE Sales KAM and General Manager of Global R&D / Technology Innovation Management at Knorr-Bremse AG since October 2021. Prior to this role, Yukichi held various engineering and managerial positions at BorgWarner Inc. from December 2016 to October 2021, including Engineering Director for emissions, thermal, and turbo systems in Japan. Yukichi's career also includes significant roles at Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation and Daimler AG, focusing on exhaust aftertreatment systems for heavy-duty vehicles. Yukichi began the career as a Manufacturing Development Engineer at Nippon Piston Ring Co., Ltd., after earning a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Musashi Institute of Technology in 1998. Currently, Yukichi is pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Keio Business School.
