Janco van Niekerk is a data scientist currently employed at Knowledge Integration Dynamics (KID) since November 2021, where a significant achievement includes developing a sales forecast time-series model for over 500 product and location combinations. Prior to this, Janco served as a data science consultant in the telecommunications industry from December 2020 to November 2021, leading projects across multiple business units. Janco's earlier experience includes working as a software engineer at Duple from January 2019 to November 2020, contributing to the design and development of 20 cloud-based SaaS applications and overseeing database design and backend API development. Janco began a career in data analysis at Drivatic for the latter half of 2018, focusing on clients in the mining sector. Janco holds a B. Eng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pretoria.
