Anna Russo

Director, Community Futures at KnowledgeWorks

Anna Russo, M.Ed. has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Anna currently works as the Director, Community Futures at KnowledgeWorks, where they are responsible for designing and facilitating digital and in-person convenings that help communities consider their aspirations and strategies for educational change. Prior to this, Anna worked at GeniusMesh as part of the Partnerships team, where they developed and implemented a strategy for partnership growth and success with global schools and businesses.

Anna also has experience at the American Association for Justice, where they served as the Senior Regional Membership Manager. In this role, they collaborated with the director on training needs and delivered ongoing training for regional managers, resulting in a 2% increase in nationwide membership. Anna also partnered with membership committee stakeholders and state associations to increase annual membership count by 10%.

In addition, Anna worked at the Achievement School District, where they held roles in the People Team and as a Founding 6th Grade Science Teacher. Anna Russo, M.Ed. obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and Women's and Gender Studies from The University of Texas at Austin in 2010. Anna then pursued a Master of Education degree at Christian Brothers University from 2011 to 2012. Currently, Anna is working towards a Master of Science degree in Organizational Dynamics at the University of Pennsylvania, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
