Arlene Casey is an accomplished mathematics educator with extensive experience in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as an Upper School Math Teacher at The Masters School since August 2019, Arlene also holds the position of Math Teacher Fellow at the Knowles Teacher Initiative. Previously, Arlene worked as a Teaching Assistant at Bryn Mawr College and Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth, where contributions included lesson planning and individualized student support. Arlene's involvement with Haverford College encompassed roles as Co-Chair and Co-Secretary of the Honor Council, Education Talks Facilitator, and Research Assistant, emphasizing support for non-traditional students. Arlene holds a B.A. in Mathematics and Education from Haverford College and has also interned as a Math Teaching Intern at Brown University, where Arlene co-designed a summer course focused on problem-based learning.
