Knowles Teacher Initiative
Natalie Dutrow is a dedicated educational leader currently serving as the Program Lead for BioInteractive High School Outreach at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute since January 2023. In this role, Natalie oversees professional learning initiatives for high school educators across the United States and Canada, enhancing educator leadership and scholarly teaching through the BioInteractive Ambassador Academy. Additionally, Natalie is a Senior Fellow at the Knowles Science Teaching Foundation since July 2010 and has contributed significantly to secondary science education as an Instructional Coach in the Salt Lake City School District and as a high school science teacher at Judge Memorial Catholic High School. An accomplished academic, Natalie holds a PhD in Oncological Science from the University of Utah, an MA in Teaching from Westminster University, and a BS in Biotechnology from Elizabethtown College.
