Neil Shah is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in marketing, research, and strategy across various leading organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Gates Ventures since November 2022, Neil also holds the title of Partner Emeritus at Known since February 2020, where integrated marketing teams were led on product launch campaigns for major technology and media brands. Previously, Neil was a Partner & EVP at schireson, overseeing the Seattle office and leading research, data science, and strategy for top technology brands. With a strong background in market research from a decade at Microsoft, where Neil held roles ranging from Director of Market Research to several management positions, and earlier experience at Dun & Bradstreet, Sony Electronics, and as an intern at the United Nations Association, Neil has built a solid foundation in competitive intelligence and corporate communications. Neil’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & English from Rutgers University.
