Marc Burns

Marc Burns has over eight years of experience in software development. Marc is currently the CTO at Knox Custody, a fintech startup. Marc was previously a software developer at D2L, where they worked on large-scale backend changes and bringing new technology into the D2L stack. Marc also worked as a software developer at the Institute for Quantum Computing, where they worked on QCViewer, a tool for designing and simulating quantum circuits. Marc has also been self-employed, doing devops and financial technology consulting. Marc was also the lead backend developer at Wildcard Montreal.

Marc Burns completed a Bachelor of Mathematics at the University of Waterloo, with a double major in computer science and combinatorics & optimization.
