Brittany Flanagan

Brittany Flanagan is currently the Head of People Operations at Koala Health. Prior to that, they worked at Amazon for three years as the Senior Human Resources Manager for Amazon Pharmacy.

Brittany was responsible for leading the three year HR integration project after PillPack was acquired by Amazon in 2018. This included strategic employee communications and cultural change management, pharmacy education for Amazon HR centers of excellence, benchmarking current employee roles and functions with Amazon counterpart, adjusting compensation as necessary, payroll and benefits integration, policy integration and maintenance, and adoption of Amazon recruiting and talent management processes.

Brittany also supported the launch of Amazon Pharmacy on Amazon.com in November 2020 and provided HR compliance subject matter expertise to the newly formed Amazon Care and Amazon Diagnostics teams within Amazon Healthcare.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, they successfully mobilized a 100% virtual workforce for an employee population that is clinically required to work in a physical pharmacy. Brittany worked with state Boards of Pharmacy to establish temporary amendments to board rules.

Brittany Flanagan has a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Finance from the UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. Brittany also has certification from PI Worldwide as a Predictive Index Analyst.

Brittany Flanagan reports to Gavin Cotter, Founder & CEO. They work with Celia Friedman Cowan - Veterinary Medical Director, Stephen Hendel - Co-Founder & Head of Product, and Jake Johnson - Head of Growth.
