Laurence Pascall

Laurence is a software engineer with nine years of experience in backend and data engineering. After receiving a Masters in Mathematics from Oxford University, he worked in start-ups in a wide-range of industries (music streaming, household services, publishing software etc.). He joined Spotify via an acquisition and spent several years working there, building terabyte-scale data pipelines and machine learning systems to enrich Spotify’s content metadata. He is passionate about building reliable, maintainable software and solving challenging problems. He is very excited to be part of Kobold Metals and to work towards mitigating climate change.
