Tim Brooks

Tim holds an MSc in Mining Geology from the University of Exeter. His main focus is working with KoBold’s properties within Central and Southern Africa. In addition to day geological oversite, his work includes designing and implementing data collection and modeling routines, aligning structural/geological modeling using the latest geological interpretation methods.

Tim has spent 16 years working in the minerals industry on a range of projects from exploration to mine geology. Since 2009 he has worked in the Central African Copperbelt, as part of teams or managing teams developing the tier 1 and tier 2 Lumwana, Kipushi, and Kamoa Deposits. At Kamoa, this included almost every stage of the resource pipeline, from early-stage drilling to mining of the Kansoko deposit.
