Tim Shanfelt, PMP has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the Koch industries. Tim started their career at Koch Pipeline in 1997 as a SCADA Communication Project Manager, where they successfully managed the relocation of a communication hub and engineered network solutions for pipeline acquisitions. In 2006, they moved to Koch Supply Company as an Asset Protection Program Manager, where they created a new internal capability to meet physical security needs across the Koch family of companies. In 2008, they joined Koch Industries as an IT Application Manager, overseeing the maintenance of core operations and compliance applications for Koch Fertilizer. Tim then took on the role of Engineering Leader at Koch Fertilizer in 2014, where they identified and addressed organizational and process inefficiencies. Currently, since 2016, Tim is working at Koch Ag & Energy Solutions, LLC, first as an Operations Enterprise Systems Leader, where they managed cross-functional teams to improve enterprise-wide processes. Currently, as the Director of Operations Transformation, they collaborate with senior leadership to establish a vision for Digital Transformation and develops strategic plans for maximum value capture through the application of DT tools.
Tim Shanfelt, PMP, obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Management Information Systems, General from Friends University from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2001, they completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) with a specialization in Computer and Information Sciences, General, also from Friends University. Additionally, Tim holds a certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
