Emerson James

Emerson James has extensive work experience in the financial and investment sector. Emerson has worked as a Director of Growth Equity & Venture Capital at Koch Disruptive Technologies since 2020. Prior to that, they served as an Associate in Private Equity at Energy Capital Partners from 2017 to 2020. From 2015 to 2017, Emerson worked as an Analyst in Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley. Emerson started their career as an Intern in Private Equity Analysis at Great Range Capital in 2014 and as an Intern in Marketing at Kaya Media Corporation in 2013.

Emerson James completed a dual degree in Finance, B.S.B. and East Asian Language and Culture, B.A. with a Korean focus from The University of Kansas from 2010 to 2014. In 2012, they briefly studied Korean Language and Literature and Business at Yonsei University. Additionally, from 2011 to 2012, Emerson studied Korean Language and Literature at Sungkyunkwan University.
