Debbie Butler

Debbie Butler is an experienced legal professional specializing in intellectual property and patent law. Currently serving as Chief Counsel - IP at Koch since January 2023, Debbie previously held the position of Chief Counsel - Patent at Koch Companies Public Sector, LLC from April 2020 to April 2023. Prior experience includes Senior Patent Counsel at Georgia-Pacific LLC from July 2011 to April 2020 and Associate roles at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP and Thomas, Kayden, Horstemeyer & Risley, LLP from 2005 to 2011. Earlier in her career, Debbie worked as a Consultant at Manhattan Associates and IBM Global Services. Debbie holds a Juris Doctor degree from Georgia State University College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
