Fiona M.

Fiona M. has over 20 years of work experience in legal, risk, and compliance roles. Fiona is currently the Head of Legal Risk and Compliance & Partner at Koda Capital, starting in August 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Legal, Risk and Compliance and Company Secretary at JANA Investment Advisers from January 2018 to August 2021. Fiona also worked at National Australia Bank as a Senior Legal Counsel from October 2009 to December 2017, where they played a key role in the transfer of a $4 billion portfolio and received an Australasian Law Award. Additionally, Fiona gained experience working in London as a Senior Associate at Pinsent Masons LLP from September 2006 to September 2008, and as a Senior Lawyer at Maclay, Murray & Spens LLP from October 2003 to August 2006. Fiona began their legal career as a Lawyer at Gilbert & Tobin Lawyers from March 2000 to August 2002.

Fiona M. attended UNSW from 1993 to 1997 and earned a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Law degree. Fiona studied Commerce and Law during their time at UNSW. In 2015 and 2016, Fiona M. pursued a diploma program in Financial Planning at Kaplan Australia. Most recently, in 2020, they completed a Graduate (GAICD) program at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. The field of study for their Graduate program is not specified.
