Ted Xiao

Ted Xiao has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Ted is currently working at Kodiak Robotics as a Senior Vehicle Integration Engineer. Prior to this, they were a Integration and Test Engineer at Argo AI from September 2021 to November 2022. Ted also worked at Ford Motor Company as a Research Engineer from June 2019 to August 2021 and as a BlueCruise Feature Development Engineer from June 2019 to June 2021. Before joining Ford, Ted was a Vehicle Systems Engineer at Aptiv from October 2018 to May 2019. Ted also has research experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan in the field of self-driving cars and robotics. Furthermore, they worked as a Graduate Student Instructor in Design and Manufacturing at the same university. In addition to their automotive experience, Ted has interned at Strategy&, part of the PwC network, Whirlpool Corporation, Optimal Engineering Inc., and Advanced Vehicle Technologies LLC in various roles.

Ted Xiao completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan from 2013 to 2016. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university from 2016 to 2017.
