Ashley Frost has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. Ashley started as a Laboratory Assistant at FAIRBANKS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL in 2008 and then worked as a Laboratory Generalist & Microbiology Supervisor at Norton Sound Health Corporation from 2009 to 2012. Ashley then held the role of Administrative Laboratory Director at Norton Sound Health Corporation from 2012 to 2017. In 2018, Ashley moved to Kodiak Area Native Association where they worked as a Clinical Application Coordinator and then as a Clinical Operations Manager. Ashley also served as the COVID-19 Organizational Coordinator and is currently working as the Laboratory Director. Additionally, Ashley has served in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service in various roles, from Lieutenant Junior Grade to Commander.

Ashley Frost completed a Certificate in Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of North Dakota in 2006. Later, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Medical Technology from the University of South Dakota in 2009 and became a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). In 2019, they graduated with a Master of Health Administration (MHA) from The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health.
