Emily Karz

Emily Karz has a strong background in research and development within the food industry, currently serving as the Associate Director of R&D at Kodiak Cakes since June 2019. Prior roles include Senior R&D Manager and Senior Project Manager at the same company. Before joining Kodiak Cakes, Emily held the position of Research and Development Manager at PROBAR LLC from February 2016 to June 2019 and worked as a Product Development Scientist at The Kellogg Company from January 2008 to February 2016. Emily's early career included internships in sensory science at Archer Daniels Midland and with Yum! Brands at Griffith Laboratories. Emily received education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2001 to 2005 and at Kansas State University from 2006 to 2008.
