Michael Powers

Michael Powers is an experienced public administration professional with a strong background in municipal management. Currently serving as Project Manager for the City of Tulare since June 2022, Michael has also held the position of Borough Manager for KODIAK ISLAND BOROUGH since May 2016. Previous roles include City Manager for the City of King, City Manager for the City of Ferndale, and City Manager for the City of Dunsmuir. From 1990 to 1997, Michael worked as Deputy Special Administrator for the County of Fresno, managing over 70 special districts. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from California State University, Fresno, earned between 1985 and 1989.
