Jessica Andersson

Jessica Andersson has a diverse work experience spanning over 10 years. Jessica is currently working at Kognic as a Product Area Lead for Engineering Enablement since January 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Team Lead for Platform at Kognic from June 2020 to January 2022.

Before joining Kognic, Jessica worked at Meltwater as an Infrastructure Engineer from May 2016 to May 2020. Jessica was responsible for providing Engineering Enablement for the product team and managing various operational and development tasks.

Jessica also worked at SpeedLedger as a System Developer from May 2014 to May 2016, where they were involved in developing a cloud service written in Java, Scala, and AngularJS.

Jessica'searlier experiences include working as a Software Developer at Purple Scout AB, where they also served as a Master Thesis Student. Jessica has also worked as a Teacher Assistant at Chalmers University of Technology and as a Summer Intern Software Developer at Volvo Group Trucks Technology.

Jessica started their career as a Software Designer at Volvo Powertrain and worked as a Brevbärare (Postman) at Posten AB. Overall, with their diverse roles and experiences, Jessica has gained expertise in software development, engineering enablement, team leadership, and infrastructure engineering.

Jessica Andersson completed their education at Chalmers University of Technology. From 2008 to 2012, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering. Jessica then pursued a Master's Degree in the same field from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their academic background, Jessica has obtained several certifications. Jessica served on the Program Committee for the Kubernetes AI Day North America 2022 Program organized by The Linux Foundation, which they achieved in September 2022. Jessica was also a speaker at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon Europe 2020, accredited by The Linux Foundation in August 2020. Furthermore, Jessica is a CNCF Ambassador starting in the spring of 2023, a title granted to their by The Linux Foundation in March 2023.
