Dinesh Caldera

Dinesh Caldera has a diverse and extensive work experience across various companies and roles. Dinesh is currently serving as the Director of Technology for Kognitiv Corporation in Sri Lanka, starting in November 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of CTO for Noetic since June 2021.

Before joining Noetic, Dinesh had a significant tenure at Noetic Digital, where they served as the CTO and Director for the UK and Sri Lanka from October 2016. Dinesh also held the positions of Technical Lead and Senior Java Developer at the company during earlier stages of their career.

Dinesh's career began in 1997 as an Analyst Programmer at the National Institute of Business Management. Dinesh gathered requirements from customers, provided consultancy, and developed software systems using various tools such as MSFoxPro, MSVisual Basic, and VBA.

Dinesh's experience also includes roles at Mediaocean (formerly Donovan Data Systems), where they worked as a Java Developer from October 2006 to December 2015. During this time, they were involved in the development of services, client-side development, and database management.

Dinesh also worked as an E-Commerce Consultant and Web Developer at ITSOHO in 2006, where they focused on web portal and e-commerce development, as well as integrating payment solutions using technologies such as JSF, JSP, Servlet, AJAX, and Java.

Earlier in their career, Dinesh worked as a Software Engineer/Team Lead at The Golden Key Software Solutions, where they analyzed, designed, and developed web applications using Java, JSP, Servlets, and various databases.

Overall, Dinesh Caldera has gained extensive experience in technology leadership, software development, and system design throughout their career.

Dinesh Caldera has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Information Systems from Northumbria University, obtained between 2004 and 2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Management Information Systems from University College Dublin, completed between 2001 and 2003. Dinesh also holds a Diploma in Computer Systems Analysis and Design from the National Institute of Business Management in Colombo, Sri Lanka, obtained in 1997 to 1998. Additionally, they have a certification from THE BRITISH COMPUTER SOCIETY, although the specific month of attainment is unknown.
