Bruno Furtado

Bruno Furtado has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. In 2012, they held a Scholarship Holder position at Universidade Federal do Ceará. In 2013, they were a Software Developer Internship at LSBD - UFC. In 2014, they were a System Analyst at GREat - Group of Computer Networks, Software Engineering and Systems, a Consultant Developer at ThoughtWorks, and a Software Engineer at Melt DSP. In 2015, they became a Full Stack Engineer at Voxy. Finally, in 2018, they became a Tech Lead at Kognity. As a Tech Lead, they collaborated closely with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and the CTO to oversee feature deliveries while ensuring quality and great technical craftsmanship. 💻 Bruno also was a member of the Hiring Committee, tech onboarding owner, and ran a Security Audit with a third-party company as part of GDPR. Additionally, they acted as an Interim Product Manager during winter 2019 and helped the team manage work and drive projects forward on a weekly and quarterly level.

Bruno Furtado obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Federal University of Ceara between 2010 and 2013. 💻 Bruno also holds a edX Verified Certificate for Big Data Analysis with Apache Spark, obtained in September 2016, and a MongoDB for Java Developers certification, obtained in March 2015, both from their respective institutions.
