Molly Hirst, Ph.D., is a seasoned data scientist and curator with extensive experience in academic and research environments. Currently serving as a Senior Data Curator I at Dryad and a Data Expert for Kolabtree, Molly combines expertise in data management and scientific writing to support various data-driven projects. Previous roles include Organizing for Taskrabbit, curatorial work at the University of Michigan, and research positions that involved genomic analysis, phylogenetics, and environmental studies. Holding multiple degrees from the University of Michigan and University of Michigan-Dearborn, including a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Molly has developed a strong foundation in data science, natural history collections, and educational support.
