Simon Bertelsen

Simon Bertelsen has worked in various roles since 2002. Simon began their career as a Developer at Gigasoft Denmark in 2002, then moved on to Elbek & Vejrup A/S in 2005, where they worked as a Solutions Architect and Senior Application Developer. In 2016, they became the Director of Engineering at Artefact, responsible for all software developed in the Nordics. In 2018, they joined Uber as an Engineering Manager, building web-scale infrastructure. In 2020, they became the Co-Founder of LIBLE and the Head of Engineering at Kollektiv, helping to land a €1.5 million investment.

Simon Bertelsen's education history includes a Datamatiker degree from Datamatiker Skive from 1999 to 2002. Simon then obtained a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification in Data Platform from Microsoft in 2014. Following that, they obtained a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification in Developing Microsoft SQL Server Databases and Designing Database Solutions for Microsoft SQL Server in 2014. Simon also obtained a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCPS) certification in Implementing a Data Warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2012, Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Databases, and Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012 in 2013. Additionally, they obtained a Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) certification in Web Developer 4 in 2012, as well as MCTS certifications in .NET Framework 4, Data Access, Service Communication Applications, and Web Applications in 2012. Lastly, they obtained an MCTS certification in Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Business Intelligence Development in 2008, as well as an MCTS certification in SQL Server 2005 in 2008. Simon then completed two courses in Organizational Leadership & Strategy from Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2018 and 2019.
