Lee Waters

Lee Waters is a highly experienced engineering professional currently serving as Principal Monitoring Solutions Engineer at Komatsu Australia since December 2021. Previously, Lee held the position of Senior Engineer and Lead Engineer at Komatsu Mining, and played a significant role as Lead Engineer for Surface Electric Wheel Loaders. Prior experience includes roles as Structural Engineering Supervisor and Continuing Product Development Engineer at Joy Global Inc., Mechanical Engineer at LeTourneau Technologies, and Technical Writer at SIMPLICITY AUSTRALIA PTY LTD. Lee began a career in engineering with an internship in Engineering and Production Management and also worked as a Guitar Tutor at Oshea's Music Centre. Lee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from The University of Queensland, earned between 2009 and 2012.
