Paul Welborn

Paul Welborn serves as the IT Enterprise Hosting Manager at Komatsu since April 2021, following a tenure as IT Infrastructure Manager since May 2014, overseeing a team of infrastructure engineers managing servers across multiple datacenters in the US. With a background as a Sr. Systems Engineer, Paul has extensive experience managing 2000+ infrastructure systems, including various technologies such as Cisco UCS, VMWare, and Microsoft products to support over 16,000 users in North America. Prior to Komatsu, Paul worked at IBM as a Remote Storage Engineer, providing storage solutions and expertise to enterprise customers, and held various IT roles at Liberty University, including IT Desktop Administrator and Desktop Administration Manager. Paul’s career began as a Parts Manager at Saturn of Chamblee after earning a degree from Liberty University.
