Kjell Kåre Mikkelsen

Kjell Kåre Mikkelsen currently serves as Fagdirektør and Senior Adviser for DSL/CISO at the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs since September 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Norsk Helsenett SF as Områdeprodukteier sikkerhet and Sikkerhetsansvarlig E-resept, and DNB as Subject Matter Lead and Senior Security Governance Specialist. Mikkelsen has also worked as a Senior Advisor at the Norwegian National Security Authority, and held multiple senior advisor positions within the Norwegian Defence sector. Early career experience includes positions at Computas AS and Eurocom Teleservice AS in software development and consulting. Mikkelsen holds an MSc in Information Technology Software Development from IT-Universitetet i København and a Bachelor of Information Technology from Nord-Trøndelag University College.
