Christine Greger Douglass

Christine Greger Douglass has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Christine is currently working at Komodo Health as the Vice President of Communications, a role they started in April 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director of Communications and Public Relations at the same company since July 2019.

Before joining Komodo Health, Christine worked at IBM as the Head of US Communications for the Watson Health business unit from May 2013 to July 2019. In this role, they led US communications, including media and influencer engagement, press announcements, events, and issue management. Christine focused on finding impactful stories that showcased the impact of data, analytics, and AI on healthcare.

Christine also has experience at the American Academy of Ophthalmology, where they served as the Manager of Public Relations from March 2012 to May 2013. Their responsibilities included raising public awareness about eye health and promoting patient access to quality eye care.

Additionally, they worked at APCO Worldwide as a Senior Associate in Health Policy from July 2007 to September 2011. At David Heil & Associates, they were a Project Associate from January 2005 to July 2007, where they provided assistance with strategic and business planning, event management, and marketing communications.

Christine's earlier experience includes working as a Field Organizer for the Kerry/Edwards Oregon Coordinated Campaign from June 2004 to November 2004, where they recruited, trained, and organized volunteers for voter outreach. Christine also interned for U.S. Congresswoman Darlene Hooley from May 2003 to August 2003, assisting with event planning, speech drafting, and constituent correspondence.

Christine Greger Douglass holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and Economics from Willamette University, which they earned between 2000 and 2004. Christine pursued further education at The Johns Hopkins University, where they completed a Master of Arts degree in Health Communications from 2010 to 2012.
