Rossella Toma

Rossella Toma has worked in various roles in analytics, data analysis, and research. Most recently, they worked as an Insight Analyst at WildBrain Spark, where they developed and designed dashboards in Tableau and worked on exploratory projects to generate novel insights. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst and Data Analyst at LandTech, where they gathered business requirements, created bespoke reports, and collated regular reports centered on product usage and financial analysis. Before that, they worked as a Data Analyst at LexisNexis UK, where they liaised with internal and external stakeholders and presented results using SQL, Excel, Tableau, Python, and OBIEE. Rossella also has experience in preparing reports and generating insights as a Business Analyst and Administrator at CheckoutSmart. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Technical Assistant at Museu de Angra do Heroísmo, where they researched and catalogued artefacts, and as an Education for Sustainable Development Researcher at Universidade dos Açores, where they conducted preliminary research on sustainability and biodiversity issues. Rossella also worked as an Assistant English Teacher at East City Languages. Toma's most recent role was Senior Analytics Engineer at Komoot.

Rossella Toma completed a Bachelor of Science (Bsc(Hons)) in Anthropology at the University of East London from 2009 to 2012. Rossella then pursued a Master's Degree in Anthropology, Environment, and Development at UCL from 2012 to 2013. Recently, they obtained two additional certifications in Modernizing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses with GCP and Google Cloud Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals from Coursera in October 2021 and August 2021, respectively.
