Pekka Perunka is the Head of Innovation Execution at KONE, responsible for leading innovation capabilities to deliver impactful solutions quickly and effectively. With a diverse background in innovation projects, Pekka has successfully managed cross-functional teams, focusing on modernization and sustainability. Previous roles include Expert and Entrepreneur in Innovation Execution, where Pekka built frameworks for new ideas and executed multiple projects, including modular construction. Pekka's early career involved hands-on experience in logistics and maintenance, alongside freelance videography. Academic credentials include a Master's Degree in Energy Engineering from Aalto University, and further studies in design innovation at Stanford University and economics at Tongji University.
