Otmar Buhmann

Otmar Buhmann has a diverse work experience in various roles within the crane and components industry. Otmar started their career in 1992 at STAHL CraneSystems, where they held positions such as Inside Sales Engineer, Outside Sales Engineer, and Sales Engineer in the USA. In 2002, they became the Director of Marketing and Product Management at STAHL CraneSystems, a position they held until 2007. That year, Buhmann joined Konecranes as the Director of Marketing and Business Development. Over the years, they have held several roles within the company, including Director of Product Line Wire Rope Hoists & Crane Components, Director of Product Management Components, and Director of Product Line Wire Rope Hoists & Components. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Business Support at Konecranes.

Otmar Buhmann holds a degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurswesen (Dipl.-WI (FH)) from FHT Mannheim, Germany, which they obtained from 1990 to 1992. In 1986 to 1989, they received a degree in Business Administration and Management, General (Dipl.-Betriebswirt (BA)) from BA Mosbach. In 2011, they completed the Executive Leadership program at IMD.
