Paavo Östberg

Paavo Östberg is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customs and international trade. Currently serving as Global Process Owner for Import Controls at Konecranes since December 2023, Östberg previously held the position of Director of Customs, Excise & International Trade at PwC Finland from June 2022 to December 2023. Prior to that, a significant tenure at PwC Switzerland involved roles as Senior Manager and Manager in Customs and International Trade, including a five-month assignment as Lead Customs & Trade Compliance in the pharmaceutical sector. Earlier experiences also include various positions at PwC Finland and a foundational role as Senior Customs Inspector at Finnish Customs. Östberg's academic background includes a degree from Åbo Akademi University, completed between 1992 and 1996.
