Veli-Matti Peltola

Veli-Matti Peltola has a diverse work experience. Veli-Matti started their career in 2010 as an entrepreneur, providing IT support and consultation services to clients. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an Accountant at Vähittäiskaupan Tilipalvelu Oy, where they handled monthly accounting tasks for retail businesses. In 2014, they joined Tradenomiliitto TRAL ry and later Tradenomiopiskelijaliitto TROL ry as a Student Advisor and Executive Manager respectively, where they organized events, gave lectures, and developed the life cycle of student members.

In 2016, Veli-Matti worked as a Sales Manager at Accountor Suomi, responsible for managing sales. In the same year, they also served as an Area Facility Responsible at H&M, where they handled budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of investments related to sales market development.

In 2018, Veli-Matti became the Chairman of the Board at Tradenomiliitto TRAL I, overseeing the union's operations. Veli-Matti then joined Konecranes in 2019 as a Digital Portfolio Manager, managing the overall digital initiative portfolio and developing digital governance processes. Veli-Matti later became the Digital Portfolio Management Lead, responsible for ensuring IT and digital development alignment with business strategies.

Throughout their career, Veli-Matti has demonstrated expertise in IT portfolio management, digital transformation, financial management, and strategic initiatives.

Veli-Matti Peltola completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Tampere University of Applied Sciences between 2011 and 2015. Prior to that, they attended Hervannan Lukio for their high school education from 2006 to 2009. In terms of certifications, Veli-Matti obtained the Certified SAFe® 6 Practice Consultant certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in October 2023. Additionally, they earned the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certification from the same institution in April 2022. Veli-Matti also completed the Scrum: The Basics certification, but the month of completion was not specified.
