Diana Catalina Velasquez

Diana Catalina Velasquez Gaviria has extensive work experience in the field of data analysis and business intelligence. Diana Catalina began their career at Konecta in 2006 as an Analyst of Operations Workforce, where they were responsible for analyzing, predicting, and controlling variables related to Contact Center operations. Diana Catalina then moved up to the position of Analyst Leader of Operations Workforce, where they provided support to line administrators in achieving service agreements with clients. In 2010, Diana became an Analyst Leader of Business Intelligence, focusing on analyzing data to optimize resources. Diana Catalina then advanced to the role of Chief Data Officer, Director of AI & Data Science, and later on, Manager of BI-BA, demonstrating their expertise in the field. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Data Officer at Konecta Colombia.

Diana Catalina Velasquez Gaviria has a diverse education history. Diana Catalina started with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, which they completed from 1998 to 2003. Diana Catalina then pursued a specialization in Project Management from Universidad EAFIT, obtaining the degree of Specialist in Project Management from 2005 to 2006. Following that, they pursued a specialization in Statistics, attaining the degree of Specialist in Statistics from Universidad Nacional de Colombia from 2009 to 2010.

In addition, Diana pursued various diploma programs to enhance their skills. Diana Catalina completed a diploma in Green Belt Six Sigma from Universidad EAFIT in 2010. In the same year, they also obtained a diploma in Integrated Approaches to Business Intelligence, Management, and Technologies from Universidad EAFIT. Additionally, they completed a diploma in Managerial Skills from Universidad de Los Andes in 2016.

Determined to further advance their knowledge, Diana pursued a master's degree in Data Science and Analytics from Universidad EAFIT from 2019 to 2021.
