Kam Momeni has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They started their career in 2004 as an Engineering Intern at PeymanSanat Rubber Industries Co., where they worked on designing and modeling marine fenders. In 2006, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut, where they conducted research until 2009. They then worked as a Visiting Student Researcher at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in 2009.
From 2010 to 2015, Kam worked as a Graduate Research Fellow and Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Connecticut. In these roles, they conducted research in the Functional Performance Lab and provided lectures on research methodology and statistics. They also oversaw student groups and delivered feedback on their work. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Assistant at the Center for Environmental Health & Health Promotion and Hawley Armory Fitness and Wellness, assisting with conference organizing and managing communication channels.
In 2016, Kam joined the Kessler Foundation as a Postdoctoral Fellow, later becoming an Associate Research Scientist and then a Research Scientist. There, they conducted research until 2022. In 2019, they also became an Assistant Professor of Research at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
Currently, Kam Momeni is working as a Research Data Scientist at Koneksa, starting in 2022.
Kam Momeni pursued their education in Biomedical Engineering at The University of Connecticut. Kam obtained a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the university in 2009. Subsequently, they continued their studies and successfully completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Connecticut in 2015.
