Axel Reichwein

Axel Reichwein is the CEO, Project Manager, Senior Developer, and Researcher at Koneksys. Axel has also previously served as the Co-Chair of the OMG OSLC4MBSE Working Group, the Chair of the SysML-Modelica Transformation Specification Finalization Task Force, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Reichwein began their career as a PhD student and research assistant at the University of Stuttgart before working as a researcher at EADS Astrium and then Lufthansa. Axel has also completed internships at Eurocopter, Mahle, and Rhodia.

Reichwein has a PhD in Product Data Integration from the Universität Stuttgart / University of Stuttgart. Axel also has a Diplom-Ingenieur (BS/MS) in Aerospace Engineering from the Universität Stuttgart / University of Stuttgart. Axel has also studied Space systems at the École Nationale Supérieure de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace. Reichwein has a Baccalauréat/Abitur from Deutsch-Französisches Gymnasium, Freiburg, Germany. Axel also attended Lycée Condorcet, Sydney, Australia; Tudor House, Moss Vale, Australia; and Ecole Les Pitchounes, Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.
