Shay Shabtai

Shay Shabtai currently serves as the Deputy Director at the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies and as the Chief Strategy Officer at Rescana, both roles undertaken since June 2023. Additionally, Shay is a lecturer in the Political Studies Department at Bar-Ilan University, where engagement has been ongoing since October 2015. In parallel, Shay provides strategic consulting for the Israel Defense Forces and works as a Cyber Security Consultant for Konfidas, specializing in national security strategy, policy, and cyber strategy since April 2015. Shay holds a Master’s degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Tel Aviv University and is pursuing a PhD in Political Science and Government at Bar-Ilan University.
