Josh Z. has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years, with their most recent role being the Senior Director of Talent Development and Engagement at Kong Inc. In this position, they are responsible for building the Engagement, Experience, and Learning & Development functions in the organization. Prior to joining Kong, Josh served as the Head of Learning and Development at GitLab Inc., where they successfully scaled the learning and development organization to meet the needs of the globally dispersed team. Before GitLab, they worked at Accenture as a Strategy & Consulting Manager for four years. Prior to that, they were a Strategy Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. Josh started their professional career as an Intelligence Officer in the United States Department of Defense. Overall, Josh has demonstrated expertise in talent development, learning and development, strategy, and consulting throughout their career.

Josh Z. holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Organizational Behavior Studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations and National Security Studies from West Virginia University. In 2021, Josh Z. attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business for an Executive Leadership - Management Bootcamp. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a SOCIAL STYLE & Versatility Facilitator from the TRACOM Group in October 2020.
