Michał Flendrich

Michał Flendrich has a wide range of experience in the software engineering field. Michał is currently working as a Software Engineering Manager at Kong Inc. where they lead the globally distributed Kubernetes Team. Michał is responsible for building the infrastructure that integrates Kong's API Management platform with Kubernetes. Prior to this, they worked as a Staff Software Engineer and a Senior Software Engineer at the same company.

Before joining Kong Inc., Michał worked at Weaveworks as a Software Engineer. During their time there, they designed and led the implementation of a multitenancy model for the company's managed Kubernetes platform. Michał also maintained an open-source Kubernetes cluster lifecycle tool and implemented key platform components.

Michał also has experience in the banking sector, having worked at Euro Bank S.A. Michał served as a Platform Architect and Technical lead, driving the cloud-native transformation and Kubernetes adoption across the bank. Michał was responsible for deploying the bank's Kubernetes platform and integrating various services.

Earlier in their career, they worked at Google as a Software Engineer in the Tools & Infrastructure team, where they contributed to the development of tools and infrastructure. Michał also worked at DATAX Sp. z o.o. as a Software Engineer, pioneering continuous integration practices and launching new functionalities for the company's network optimization product.

During their early career, Michał had internship experience at imo messenger and worked as a Software Engineer at Nokia Networks.
