Rod Contreras

Rod Contreras is an experienced professional in the gaming industry. Rod currently serves as the Head of Production at Kongregate, a video game and blockchain company. In this role, they oversee and manages the entire production process, ensuring the successful development and delivery of innovative projects. Rod collaborates with various teams, including game designers, developers, artists, and blockchain experts. Prior to this, Rod held the position of Senior Studio Director at Kongregate.

Before joining Kongregate, Rod worked as a Mentor at Start-Up Chile, where they provided guidance and support to aspiring entrepreneurs. Rod also has a strong background in leadership and strategic development, having served as the CEO of Gamaga, where they led the management team and was responsible for developing corporate relations, fundraising, and executing pitches. Additionally, Rod founded and served as CEO of Cuatic Games, a company that developed video games for J2ME mobile devices. In this role, they were responsible for strategic direction, client relations, and business/product development.
