Matt Thackray

Matt Thackray has a diverse range of work experience in various leadership roles. Matt is currently serving as the Vice President & General Manager for the Americas region at Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems. Prior to this, they worked as the General Manager - North America at Gravotech, where they were responsible for the commercial operations of the North America region. Before that, they served as the Director of Sales - Americas at Apex Tool Group, LLC, overseeing the global power-tool division in the Americas. Matt also has experience as the Director of Sales - Traceability at Gravotech USA, where they spearheaded the global key account management strategy and brand recognition efforts. Matt started their career as a National Account Manager at Gravotech USA's Canadian distributor, managing strategic automotive accounts. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in sales, leadership, and relationship management in various industries, including automotive and manufacturing.

Matt Thackray completed their Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at Fanshawe College from 1994 to 1999. Later, in 2005 and 2006, they pursued Executive Studies in Business Administration and Management, General at the Schulich School of Business - York University.
