R. Scott Davis, RN, FACHE has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. R. Scott has held various leadership roles in different organizations, showcasing their expertise in managing healthcare operations, organizational change, and clinical performance improvement.

Starting in 2007, Davis worked as a Trauma Coordinator for the Joint Trauma System, overseeing the care of trauma patients and ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines. R. Scott also managed medical missions in Afghanistan.

In 2009, Davis joined the US Army Medical Department as a Section Chief, responsible for nursing services in various units. R. Scott supervised a large nursing staff and coordinated patient care.

Davis then worked as a Nurse Manager in the Emergency Department and Trauma Coordinator for the Joint Trauma System, focusing on performance improvement and utilization management.

In 2010, Davis joined Humana as an Army Fellow and Consultant, where they worked on managed care issues and implemented programs to reduce emergency department visits and unnecessary cardiology services.

In 2011, Davis served as a Staff Officer in the US Army Medical Department, providing support to the Chief of the Army Nurse Corps and working on strategic issues affecting Army Nursing.

From 2012 to 2014, Davis worked as a Health Systems Analyst for the Defense Health Agency, providing clinical and healthcare analytics support.

In 2014, Davis became the Officer in Charge and Chief Operations Officer of the Family Medicine clinic at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, where they managed a large team and improved access and appointment times.

From 2016 to 2019, Davis worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate and Senior Military Healthcare Analyst, focusing on developing High Reliability Organizations and Clinical Communities within the Defense Health Agency.

Most recently, Davis joined Koniag Government Services in 2020, where they held roles as a Senior Healthcare Operations Analyst, Program Manager, and Director. Currently, they serve as the President of the Health Professional Services Operating Group. In these positions, they have managed teams, led organizational change projects, and worked on contracts totaling millions of dollars.

R. Scott Davis, RN, FACHE has a diverse educational background. R. Scott obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of Rochester in 1995. In 2006, they pursued a Master of Health Administration degree from Baylor University. Later on, in 2020, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at LSU Shreveport.

Apart from their degree programs, Davis also pursued various certifications to enhance their skills. R. Scott obtained a Certificate in Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth in 2018. In the same year, they earned a Certificate in Project Management from Purdue University. Additionally, they hold a Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) - Queen's Chapter, which they obtained in 2017.

Furthermore, Davis has been recognized as a Fellow by the American College of Healthcare Executives, showcasing their expertise and leadership in the healthcare field.
