Tara Dewan-Czarnecki

Tara Dewan-Czarnecki is a Grant Management Project Manager at Koniag Government Services, leading a team of 10 on a $3.87 million contract for the Office of Head Start Panel Support Services since January 2021. Previously, Tara served as the Early Learning Grants Lead at the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education, managing approximately $40 million in grants and spearheading a successful $9 million child care expansion initiative. As a grant management consultant for The Grantsmanship Center, Tara developed content on indirect costs and best practices for non-profit organizations. Experience also includes roles as Subawards Administrator at the International Republican Institute, Development and Communication Coordinator at The Iraq Foundation, and internships at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and the U.S. Department of Commerce. Tara holds a Master’s Degree in International Development Studies from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Arabic from Georgetown University.
